What is the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)?

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is a component of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program that provides funding to states to purchase HIV and other medications for people with HIV. It also can help people with HIV pay for insurance premiums and copayments or coinsurance. ADAP does not qualify as insurance.
