YouTube sensation Todrick Hall will also be on hand to talk about his involvement in #HIVBEATS, a new YouTube series from Greater Than AIDS and #endHIV that uses movement to educate about HIV. Todrick is featured as part of the ESSENCE Empowerment Experience “Hour of Power” program on Saturday, July 2nd at 12:10 pm. The ESSENCE Empowerment Experience is the FREE daytime community forum of the popular ESSENCE Festival.
Todrick will stop by the Greater Than AIDS booth following his Hour of Power appearance for a meet-and-greet with fans!
Throughout the Festival weekend, Greater Than AIDS and partners at the Louisiana Office of Public Health and the Black AIDS Institute will provide free HIV testing, courtesy of of bioLytical Laboratories, Inc. The tests take just one minute with results are provided on site by trained counselors. Those who get tested will be entered into daily concert ticket raffles. While there, visitors can also take a picture in the Greater Than AIDS photo booth and pick up free giveaways. Come on by & see us!
