It was another successful year of FREE HIV testing, information and fun for National HIV Testing Day!
Together with Greater Than AIDS and Walgreens, the Georgia Department of Public Health and local AIDS service organizations provided FREE HIV testing and information at 39 stores across Georgia on National HIV Testing Day (June 27th). Around the country, this year brought together the highest number of participating partners, cities and Walgreens stores!
After people stopped by for a FREE HIV test, they also received informational materials and giveaways – including brochures with information about PrEP, the pill to prevent HIV, for those who test negative, and the benefits of HIV treatment for those who test positive.

The National HIV Testing Day community partnership is part of an ongoing effort by Greater Than AIDS and Walgreens to broaden the reach of HIV testing and information in non-traditional settings and to support the outreach of local organizations. Click here to learn more about the partnership.
