Match Group, an internet dating company that includes Tinder, BLK and Chispa, teamed with KFF’s Greater Than HIV to support National HIV Testing Day (June 27). The company ran Greater Than HIV messages on its platforms to encourage routine testing and connect users to local resources.
The CDC recommends HIV testing as part of routine health care, yet many don’t know their status. It is estimated one in seven people with HIV in the U.S. is unaware they are living with HIV.
Match Group is part of the Health Action Alliance’s U.S. Business Action to End HIV, which helped facilitate the partnership.
