Let’s Talk About Naloxone

You gotta stop and watch this video.

Too many people are dying of overdose in the United States. And, a lot of that is driven…because of a drug called fentanyl.

Fentanyl isn’t just a drug that people do by itself. Very often fentanyl is blended with other drugs…because it reduces the cost of the drug to the person who’s selling it.

And, so, fentanyl is hiding or could be hiding in a lot of drugs, including things like stimulants, like, cocaine, or methamphetamine.

An overdose of a very small amount of fentanyl can cause a fatal overdose.

If someone is experiencing an overdose…there’s a medicine that you can spray in their nose called naloxone that can reverse the overdose.

So, really make sure that you carry it with you, especially if you’re doing drugs or using drugs…or around people who may be using drugs.
