Taking your power back!

I’m Dr. Flash and I’m here to talk to you about HIV

I have the privilege of taking care of people living with HIV. Some are people with new diagnoses that walk in and they walk in and they’re scared.

And so, I feel that part of my ministry for them is giving them their power back.

Some people blame themselves, if only I had done this, or not done this. That doesn’t take your power. You still have the opportunity to reshape that narrative.

There’s nothing that’s a foregone conclusion. That “I can’t have a relationship, I can’t have a baby, I can’t be loved by my family, I can’t fully disclose who I am and all the elements of myself.”

I want you to know that all of those things are possible.
